The first developer meeting in nearly two months: a 2–3× faster blockchain sync on hard drives, turning fluffy blocks on for mainnet, the feature list for GUI Beta 2, a bot to clear the GitHub issue backlog, a hole in merge-commit signing that nobody can quite close, and whether the dynamic fee needs to change if the price runs 10×.
Release planning for the next point release, GUI beta progress and translations, testnet status ahead of the January RingCT fork, and a round on block size and fees.
Pool operators and the upcoming fork, sync and testnet reports after the 0.10 release, and the Kovri team on where the I2P router stands.
Wallet work and testnet results following 0.10.0 "Wolfram Warptangent", GUI timelines, fee discussion, and the Kovri segment.
A long one: wallet and daemon RPC changes, the 0MQ branch, minimum mixin and the September fork, RingCT on testnet, and release scheduling.
RPC and daemon work, RingCT review progress, the 0MQ rewrite, fork planning and fees, plus a short Kovri update.
A smaller meeting with hyc excused: GUI status, 0MQ, and hand-off to the Kovri meeting.
The last meeting before the March fork: wallet fixes, LMDB, early RingCT discussion and GUI progress.
A short roundup of browser add-ons that put the XMR price in your toolbar, with notes on permissions and where the numbers come from.
120-second blocks, a doubled block reward, minimum ring size 3 — and what users, miners and exchanges actually need to do. Updated after the fork passed.
